Zainab Choudhry, Founder

Zainab Choudhry is a New York City based lawyer specializing in intellectual property law. She has extensive experience in the NYC book publishing and creative industry, where in addition to handling legal matters, she acquired books to be published, including publishing rights to Oscar shortlisted documentary, My Enemy, My Brother. Zainab has brokered copyright license contracts with international publishers in 30 different territories, for translations of books in more than 20 different languages. She has also worked with editors and media executives at The New Yorker, The New York Times, Time, Vanity Fair, Vice, Audible etc., to develop and publish excerpts and audio editions. Her legal experience includes negotiating and working on license agreements for policy officials as well as celebrity authors such as Francis Ford Coppola, Lindsay Lohan, Khole Kardashian, Kendal and Kylie Jenner and Ronda Rousey.

As a painter, writer and self-taught coder, Zainab recognizes the impact personal story telling, media and art can have on bridging the gap between different cultures. Her entrepreneurial pursuit, Creative Envoy, focuses on fostering better global cultural understanding and connections that lead to progressive social impact.
